“Bishop Patrina Steadman is the proud pastor and founder of Miracle International Praise Ministries, a ministry globally transforming lives for kingdom advancement, located in Capitol Heights, Maryland. As a DC native she took great pride in being a member of her family church, Greater Tysons Temple, founded by her late grandfather, succeeded by her brother, the late Bishop James Steadman, for 39 years. There she developed her superb leadership skillset which became the launching pad for promotion. She was ordained the first woman elder within the Inner Circle Fellowship Ministries in May 2002 and within the same year was installed as pastor of Miracle International Praise Ministries (MIPM). Since the inception of MIPM, her involvement with local, regional, and global outreach initiatives ensured assistance to our community providing transitional housing and employment to free food and clothing to those in need; has made a tremendous impact. As an influencer of women, she has collaborated with other religious organizations and community groups in sponsoring Women's Empowerment and Kingdom Leadership development courses. Bishop Steadman also gained the support from a local group of female pastors to sacrifice their time to bring “church” to various transitional facilities and shelters in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Bishop Steadman is a trailblazer who is very compassionate about helping people and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The evidence of her faith and God’s favor exudes in her lifestyle and is demonstrated through the many lives she has touched. She continues to be a model example of faithfulness and good character. She has completed her Bachelors of Divinity from New Hope and Life Theology School, Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Logo Christian College, and most recently received her Master's of Divinity from New Hope and Life Theology School. She has taken on the mantra of MIPM, as her own: "we are a church where supernatural miracles are happening... every day. Bishop Steadman credits all glory and honor to God for the great works He has done!”
